On Thursday 13th October 2022 at the Severn Street Masonic Hall, the Lodge of Happiness performed our first Third Degree ceremony in over three years.
Bro. Dan Horton, initiated in 2019 and recently passed in a double Second Degree Ceremony, was raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason.
A number of Brethren acted in different offices for the ceremony, to whom the Worshipful Master gave thanks to at the end of the ceremony.
Bro. Dan, upon completion of the ceremony, was presented with a Masonic Bible, gifted from the memorial fund established by the friends and family of the late W. Bro. M. G. J Grant.
On this special evening, we also enjoyed the company of several visiting Brethren, including a visitor from the province of Lincolnshire.
Our next meeting falls on Thursday 8th December 2022, which will be a Double Third Degree Ceremony. Should any Brother visitor wish to join us, please reach out to our Lodge secretary who would be more than happy to accommodate your visit.
